Phishing: Adopt the right habits

Stay alert: Always be cautious with emails you receive, even if they appear to come from Monaco Telecom. We will never ask you for sensitive information (username, password, credit card number, etc.).

Do not click: If you suspect an email is fraudulent, do not click on any links, do not download attachments, and do not reply. The best action is to delete it immediately.

Check the sender: Don’t rely solely on the displayed name. Hover over the address to see the actual email. A suspicious or misspelled domain is a red flag.

Use a strong and unique password: Choose long, complex passwords with uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters. Never reuse the same password across multiple services. A password manager can help.

Report suspicious activity: If you notice any unusual activity on your Monaco Telecom email account, contact our customer service immediately.

Thank you for your vigilance and trust.

Before September 15th, update your email settings to avoid any disruption.

If your email applications are not using Monaco Telecom’s secure servers, you will no longer be able to send emails.

The Government, the Monegasque Digital Security Agency, and Monaco Telecom are here to help you ensure that your mailboxes comply with current international security standards.

Hacking is the primary threat to your email. Fraudulent emails—on the rise—also target @libello.com and @monaco.mc addresses.

With these email fraud attempts, you are exposed to:

  • identity theft
  • theft of your personal data
  • harvesting of your passwords
  • or even use of your banking information.

To reduce risks, make sure your mailboxes meet the recommended security standards.

Make sure your email is properly configured on each of your devices.

If you only use our Webmail, no action is required.
Select your device and follow our step-by-step tutorials.
