Bridge mode consists of assigning the fixed IP of your contract to a device on your local network. The other stations on the local network get another dynamic IP this time.

What is Passthrough mode?

Passthrough mode involves assigning a new, public, dynamic IP to a single device on your local network. The other stations in the local network continue to benefit from the fixed IP of the contract.

Setting up passthrough mode

1.Network configuration of the device with the public IP address

The network interface of the equipment (router, server, workstation, etc.) which will carry the public IP address must be configured in DHCP mode.

Why secure my WiFi?

This key prevents unauthorized users from connecting to your Box. The more complicated the WIFI key, the more secure the network.

How do I choose my key?

For optimal security, Monaco Telecom recommends that you use a WiFi key containing numbers and letters, avoiding the use of existing words. Example: AF452CAB695E.

These are two different encryption protocols ensuring the security of your WiFi network. Monaco Telecom recommends that you switch to WPA-PSK encryption for optimal security

Note: For certain devices (game console, etc.), using the WPA protocol does not allow you to connect via WiFi. Some devices require a WEP key because they are not compatible with the WPA protocol. (Consult the instructions for your device)
