Digital technology has become essential and strategic for the Principality, and sustainable development is more pressing than ever; at Monaco Telecom we want to contribute to inventing a more sustainable digital technology that meets new ecological and societal challenges.

Our Corporate Social Responsibility approach aims to combine improving access to quality digital technology for all and controlling the impacts linked to our activity. Monaco Telecom affirms its role as a major player in the Principality, integrated into its ecosystem.

The commitment of each employee is fundamental to our approach. We rely on sharing our common values of living and working together, to integrate the principles of sustainable development and respect into our daily activities.

A committed company

Reducing our company’s carbon footprint is everyone’s commitment. It involves concrete daily actions, employee involvement and awareness, but also a purchasing policy and choice of responsible suppliers.

The actions carried out both within associations and inside the company aim to uphold our founding values of commitment, will and creativity. In the company, each of us brings what we must bring to the collective. This is also the case in our support for local initiatives.

Making a lasting commitment

The Principality of Monaco has committed to reducing its greenhouse gas emissions by 55% by 2030, compared with 1990 levels. Since 2019, Monaco Telecom has been a signatory of the National Energy Transition Pact and has started its own transition. In 2023, we launched a complete audit to assess our carbon footprint and define our action plan to reduce our footprint and achieve the objectives set by Monaco. A reduction which involves concrete actions, particularly in terms of mobility, waste management and energy management. A commitment from the entire company around two major environmental objectives: zero waste and zero carbon.

Supporting digital inclusion

As a telecoms provider our responsibility goes beyond connectivity. Our mission is to support individuals in this transition, by providing them with the tools, knowledge and confidence necessary to leave no one behind on the digital road in Monaco.

La Maison du numérique

On July 7, 2023, La Maison du Numérique was inaugurated, a new place for assistance, learning and discovery around digital technology in Monaco. A project carried out in collaboration with the Prince's Government and the Town Hall of Monaco

Connecting local sport associations

For several years, we have been committed to promoting excellence in community sport by providing the connectivity solutions necessary for its development.
