As part of managing and monitoring client environments hosted on our Cloud, it is essential to have a clear and centralized view of the Virtual Machines (VMs) delivered to clients.
Depending on the level of support offered (standard, managed, or fully managed), the monitoring and maintenance actions vary.
The objective of this internship is to design an internal tool that collects and organizes this information in a reliable, automated, and usable manner.

  • 1. Needs Analysis and Project Scoping
  • Understanding the current processes for VM delivery and management
  • Gathering requirements from the Cloud and Support teams
  • Defining inventory criteria (VM type, client, environment, support level, etc.)
  • 2. Design and Development of the Inventory Tool
  • Selection of appropriate technologies (programming language, database, interface, API, etc.)
  • Development of the data collection module (manual or automated).
  • Creation of a dashboard or visualization interface (web-based or scripted).
  • Technical and user documentation
  • 3. (Bonus) Automation and Traceability of Updates
  • Define a process for automating the deployment of updates for managed and fully managed VMs.
  • Implement a logging and traceability system for actions performed.
  • Test and validate the solution in a pilot environment.
  • Knowledge of Linux/Windows systems and virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox, etc.)
  • Proficiency in a scripting or programming language (Python, PowerShell, Bash, etc.)
  • Basic knowledge of databases (SQL, NoSQL).
  • Interest in Cloud computing, infrastructure management, and automation (Ansible, Terraform, etc.).
  • Rigor, autonomy, and organizational skills.
  • Implementation of a complete Cloud automation project.
  • Advanced skills in scripting, APIs, and infrastructure management.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the lifecycle of a Virtual Machine in a professional environment.
  • Collaboration with technical teams (DevOps, Support, Cloud).
  • Attractive compensation: between €1,400 and €1,700 depending on your year of study, plus €180 in meal vouchers and free carpooling with BlaBlaCar Daily.
