  • The Security Manager is responsible for ensuring the security of the company’s information system in accordance with regulatory requirements, standards, and the company’s strategy.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Proposes and participates in the validation of the security roadmap and ensures its follow-up.
  • Defines, oversees, and ensures the proper implementation of the company’s security policy in alignment with regulatory requirements, risks, and business priorities.
  • Defines the necessary technical and organizational measures, including:
  • - the detection and prevention of any risks related to cybersecurity.
  • - the management of resilience and business continuity.
  • - the detection and management of security incidents.
  • - the management of crises.
  • - training and knowledge transfer.
  • Provides expertise and operational management in cybersecurity.
  • Ensures the production of security reports and leads security committees.
  • Ensures that cybersecurity principles are considered from the design phase through to the production deployment of system infrastructures and any applications developed by the IT department, as well as during operations and, more broadly, for any requirement specifications.
  • Participates in compliance checks with applicable regulations and standards.
  • Monitors vulnerabilities and technological innovations and proposes solutions tailored to the company’s needs.
  • Is responsible for monitoring and controlling OPEX and CAPEX commitments for their activity.
  • Ensures the coordination of projects within their technical domain.
  • Manages the interface and secures the access of contractors, partners, and suppliers to the Monaco Telecom network.
  • Depending on the size of the security team, may be required to take on a managerial role, particularly in the following areas:
  • Sets objectives, organizes, and leads the activities of their team.
  • Leads the team by regularly informing them of company developments, decisions, and results, while also communicating feedback from the team to management.
  • Participates in recruitment, recommends salary increases, conducts performance reviews, and ensures the team receives adequate training.
  • Required Skills
  • Engineer (or equivalent) in Computer Science and/or Telecommunications, preferably with a specialization in security, complemented by a minimum of 8 years of experience in information system security.
  • Managerial skills
  • Strong ability to manage technical projects. Rigorous and structured, with excellent interpersonal skills and a high-quality, pedagogical approach.
  • User-oriented, with strong listening skills; in this cross-functional role, they may be called upon to contribute to any type of project as an expert.
  • Ability to write security documentation: policies, processes, etc.
  • Technical skills
  • Proficiency in information systems: networks, systems, databases, cloud, etc.
  • Good knowledge of vulnerabilities and types of attacks: phishing, ransomware, malware, etc.
  • Proficiency with security tools (Firewall, Bastion, EDR, IDS/IPS, etc.) and cryptography.
  • Good knowledge of standards: ISO 27001, GDPR.
  • Skills in risk analysis and crisis management.
  • Ability to conduct risk analyses and propose appropriate solutions.
  • Strong ability to manage and communicate effectively in crisis situations.
  • Languages: Fluent in French, good command of English (spoken and written).
