  • Within a team of six, deploy and maintain robust, secure, and scalable Cloud infrastructures to meet internal and external operational needs.
  • We currently operate two infrastructure virtualization technologies: VMware and OpenStack. The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer works closely with architects who design our telecom IT solutions, as well as with the teams that operate these solutions deployed on our private cloud infrastructure.
  • The engineer ensures the maintenance of components and services and automates access to resources while maintaining consistency, quality, and security. All cloud components are documented, monitored, and supervised. They are also responsible for tracking infrastructure usage and ensuring sufficient capacity to meet demand (Capacity Planning).
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Design, deploy, and manage the Cloud architecture, ensuring its integrity, security, and performance.
  • Collaborate with Platform, SRE, and Development teams to deliver cloud solutions tailored to application and service requirements.
  • Ensure the implementation of best practices in security and compliance.
  • Manage and optimize cloud resources by monitoring performance, adjusting capacities, and optimizing costs.
  • Provide technical support to users on topics related to the use of Cloud Infrastructure services.
  • Provides technical expertise for the resolution of Level 2 and Level 3 incidents.
  • On-call duties covering the entire team scope.
  • Required Skills
  • Expertise in:
  • Knowledge of Cloud service standards and best practices.
  • Advanced experience with Linux systems.
  • Proficiency in virtualization technologies, particularly VMware vSphere, VMware vCenter, and related tools.
  • Advanced understanding of networks, protocols, and security.
  • Skills in automation and configuration management to ensure consistency and reproducibility of deployments (Terraform, Ansible, Packer, Code Repository, etc.).
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in an enterprise backup solution, such as Veeam, is a plus.
  • Bonus skills:
  • Experience with VEEAM backup solutions is a strong plus.
  • Experience with NetApp and S3 storage is a strong plus.
  • Experience with OpenStack Red Hat (provider).
